Five senses of love.
Sight~The first thing that you notice about someone, is how they look. "Many of the visual beauty standards vary between cultures and eras"(1). Though this is true, anything that resembles youth, and good health, are two things every culture looks for(1).
Smell~As humans, we are able to pick up other peoples natural chemical sent. Those chemicles are called Pheromones. Men and Woman's bodies pick up the sent of a fertile opposite sex as someone who, "smells good". This comes from the evolutionary perspective as means of reproducing, one of the key innate instruction of survival of a species(1).
Sound~Typically Heterosexual men like women with higher pitched voices and heterosexual woman typically like men with lower voices. This is because the deepness of someones voice usually correlates with body size, this is an evolutionary perspective(1).
Touch~A vital study shows that someone who is warmer, or hotter in feeling is seen as more appealing. The study gave the participants either a warm or cold cup of coffee, then later asked to rate a person they saw. Higher results came from the people with a warm/hot cup of coffee rather than cold. I mean no one wants someone who is a cold person...right(1)?
Taste~And for taste there is one obvious answer, the first kiss. The first kiss is so important in a relationship that some people have reported losing feelings for a person after it! The first kiss lets the people participating know if y'all have chemistry or not before entering that relationship. This is also an evolutionary idea considering you difinetly need chemistry to reproduce and keep the family line going. Everyone remembers their first kiss good...or bad. Once the kiss is confirmed good, the brain is flooded with norepinephrine. This makes sense considering your heart is probably beating a million miles an hour(1).
